Acharya Gokulotsavji Maharaj, through his exceptional and pioneering work, has, with Samveda Gaayan, performed a series of 89 SomYajnas of varying lengths spanning 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, and 17 days. These extraordinary and most difficult of all Vedic Yagyas have taken place not only across India’s big cities but also in small towns, villages and remote area he performed SomYagya in London, UK, in 1995 and New York, USA, in 2000, to bring the Indian culture of Samveda Gaayan and SomYagya to the western world.
In his London 1995 Virat SomYagya Mahotsav, former IGNCA president and India’s High Commissioner to the UK, L.M. Singhvi, and his delegates attended and participated in the SomYagya, addressed the huge crowd, and took blessings from Acharya Dr Pt. Gokulotsavji Maharaj.
Through these endeavours, Acharya Gokulotsavji Maharaj has successfully introduced the Indian culture of SamVeda Gaayan and Vedic SomYajnas ritual to hundreds of thousands of people in the Western World who never saw it, nor read or heard about it.
His biggest unique contribution is to save our Indian culture from being eaten by vultures in the form of anti-India and anti-Indian mentality. He has performed SomYagya with Shastriya Sangeet and SamVeda Sangeet, stimulating, raising awareness, and enlightening the minds of hundreds of thousands of people in India and the Western World.
